Dr. Litman's Stethoscope
Dr. Litman wanted to develop a stethoscope where the fixturing did not interfere with the listening. He came to our John Goodnow to help in its development. Together they perfected the concept that is still in use today. During World War II, the army wanted us to automate the process so they used the War Powers Act to come in and "help us comply".
